Prince Harry may face public backlash as he unveils his future travel plans, raising eyebrows due to his previous remarks about environmental conservation. After returning to California from a three-day visit to Nigeria, Harry, who has spoken extensively about the importance of sustainable travel, revealed his intention to travel more frequently.

Reflecting on the trip’s success, Harry emphasized the significance of meeting people directly, listening to their perspectives, and working towards solutions, support, and positive change.

He expressed that there are limitations to what can be achieved from home or over Zoom, stating that traveling is crucial for their work, including initiatives by the Archewell Foundation and the Invictus Games.

These comments are likely to draw significant criticism, particularly considering Harry’s previous statements in 2022, urging travelers to fly less and emphasizing the importance of reducing air miles. Critics may question the consistency of his stance, given his plans for increased travel.

Furthermore, American celebrities have been throwing shade at Meghan Markle, with her popularity suffering as a result. Following her three-day visit to Nigeria alongside Prince Harry, Daily Mail columnist Morin Callahan criticized the Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan has been actively promoting the mental health initiatives of the Archewell Foundation for young people and raising awareness about the Invictus Games, which Nigeria participated in for the first time last year.

During a discussion on GBN America with host Nana Akua Cohen, Callahan expressed frustration, labeling the trip as a glaring display of hypocrisy.

She accused Harry and Meghan of presenting a positive and caring persona while simultaneously engaging in an ongoing feud with the royal family. Callahan further added that the couple has repeatedly betrayed Harry’s family through various high-profile platforms.

In addition to their Nigeria visit, Meghan Markle has recently launched a new lifestyle project called American Riviera Orchard, which includes the sale of jams. She is also set to host a Netflix series.

Discussing these ventures, Callahan pointed out that despite her connections and friendship with Anna Wintour, Meghan did not attend the Met Gala. Callahan insinuated that Wintour, a known monarchist, possibly played a role in excluding Meghan from the event.

Callahan also highlighted a Vogue write-up preceding the gala, which seemingly threw shade at Meghan. The article covered a dinner hosted by Gwyneth Paltrow at a neighboring estate, attended by Oprah Winfrey and Ted Sanders.

Critics argue that while Meghan is attempting to establish her lifestyle brand, she is modeling it after Goop, drawing parallels between the two ventures.
